Fourteen workers died Sunday in a ferry accident in Egypt, reported the state-run newspaper Al Ahram online.
The accident occurred when a minibus carrying the workers fell off the ferry into a Nile ditch in the province of Beheira, dpa reported.
Rescuers have so far recovered 11 bodies, said Al Ahram. It did not say how many people in total were inside the minibus.
Nile accidents are not uncommon in Egypt due to rickety and overloaded ferries.
