Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi has decided to shorten his visit to Europe, a presidential spokesman said Tuesday, as unrest in the country continued for a sixth day, DPA reported.
Morsi had originally planned to spend a total of three days in Germany and France. He will now spend only a few hours in Berlin on Wednesday, where he will meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel and deliver a speech at the Koerber Foundation.
The spokesman did not say whether Morsi would then travel to France.
