A man blew himself up Wednesday in front of a luxury hotel in the Tunisian coastal city of Sousse, national television reported.
The man detonated his explosives on a beach after being barred by security guards from entering the four-star Riadh Palm hotel, El Wataniya 1 channel said, citing security sources, dpa reported.
There were no reports of other casualties.
The suspected terrorist attack is the first on a tourist site in Tunisia in years.
It followed a string of deadly attacks in recent weeks on security forces.
