Three large blasts have struck a popular hotel and restaurant district along the Tigris River in Baghdad, AP reported.
The first blast struck at about 3:40 p.m., rocking buildings along Abu Nawas Street across from the Green Zone.
Smoke could be seen rising from the parking lot of the Sheraton Hotel.
Two other blasts followed minutes later.
