Four members of the Iraqi security forces were killed and several more injured in two separate bomb attacks in northern Iraq on Sunday, dpa reported.
Security officials told dpa that two policemen were killed and several other injured when an explosive device hit their patrol in central Kirkuk, 250 kilometres north of the capital Baghdad.
Two Iraqi soldiers were also killed and another two injured in a bomb attack on an army barracks in Tuz Khormato, 130 kilometres north of Baghdad, security officials said.
