The Israeli military and police were investigating a report Thursday that an Israeli solider may have been kidnapped, CNN reported.
Israel Defense Forces and Israeli police received a report around noon suggesting that a soldier was forced into a car near an Israeli air force base adjacent to Ben Gurion International Airport, a military spokesman said.
Security forces set up dozens of roadblocks in the greater Tel Aviv area after the report, backing up traffic.
