Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Wednesday said he suspected Iran of being behind Wednesday's blast on a bus with Israeli tourists in Bulgaria and threatened Israel would retaliate "forcefully", DPA reported

"All the signs lead to Iran. Over the past months we have seen Iranian attempts to hurt Israelis in Thailand, India and Georgia, Kenya, Cyprus and more," Netanyahu charged.

"Eighteen years exactly after the terrorist attack at the Jewish community centre in Argentina, the murderous Iranian terrorism continues to hurt innocent people. This is an Iranian terrorist offensive that is spreading in the entire world," he said, according to a statement from his office.

"Israel will respond forcefully to the Iranian terrorism," he warned.
