Israeli parliament approves new government

Israel's parliament approved the new government Monday, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented his ministers and outlined his coalition's priorities, DPA reported.

The Knesset vote was 68 legislators in favour, and 48 opposed. Four legislators were not present for the vote.

The vote was followed by the swearing-in of the 22 cabinet ministers.
