PNA, Egypt agree to new ideas about reconciliation, says Hamas official

A senior official of the Gaza-ruling Islamic Hamas movement announced Friday that the Palestinian National Authority and Egypt have agreed to the ideas raised by the movement to complete the reconciliation and ending internal division, Xinhua reported.

Salah Bardawil said in a statement Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa has telephoned Hamas leader Ismail Haneya that there is consent principle to the proposals by the Palestinian National Authority and Egypt.

He said the new ideas and proposals, aiming to complete the reconciliation of the Palestinian and the signing of the Egyptian paper, were provided by Hamas during the visit of Moussa to the Gaza Strip last week.

Bardawil declined to talk about these proposals but stressed that it contains a practical mechanism for the application of reservations made by the movement of some items of the Egypt- brokered reconciliation pact.
