Israel Tuesday refuted Palestinian claims that a pre-dawn explosion in Gaza city which injured at least 24 people was caused by an Israeli airstrike, DPA reported.
"There was no involvement," a military spokesman in Tel Aviv said.
The explosion occurred in the house of Adnan Adaf, a senior commander of the Hamas military wing. It was unclear whether he was among the wounded.
