Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the terrorist attacks that killed dozens in Iraq on Friday, Xinhua reported.
Turkey expressed sorrow and concern over the terrorist attacks that happened despite improved political consensus and security atmosphere in Iraq, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Turkey is ready to extend support for the treatment of the wounded Iraqis if requested by Iraqi officials, the statement said.
At least 23 people were killed and 30 others were wounded in a car bomb explosion near a Shiite mosque in northern Iraqi city of Mosul on Friday, when worshippers left the mosque after their Friday prayer, police source said.
Earlier in the day, roadside explosions in Baghdad killed four and wounded 18 Shiite pilgrims, who just finished their religious ritual from the holy city of Karbala in central Iraq.
