Turkish PM meets Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Wednesday Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran, Anadolu Agency reported.

Erdogan thanked Khamenei for the hospitality displayed by Iranians during his two day visit to Iran.

Khamenei, in his part, said that he was pleased to see Erdogan and his delegation in Iran.

"You are here among your brothers and sisters," Khamenei said.

Erdogan's meeting with Khamenei lasted around half an hour and was closed to the press corps.

Erdogan and his delegation will return to Turkey on Wednesday night.
