Turkey will establish the consulate general in Iraqi town of Arbil soon, Turkish agency Anadolu said.
Turkish foreign minister has paid official visit to North Iraq. He told about establishment of the consulate in Arbil soon.
Addressing at a joint press-conference Davutoglu told head of Kurdistan's administration Masud Barzani that it is time for Arabs, Kurds and Turks to rebuild the region of Middle East and take courageous actions.
"Iraqi people are our close relatives," Davutoglu said.
In his turn, Barzani called Davutoglu's visit to North Iraq as an important action.
"We suffer felt moment in Middle East. Davutoglu's visit is very important," Barzani said.
Davutoglu also participated in opening of consulate general in Basra. Turkey and Iraq also agreed to open two additional check-points.
Turkey and Kurdistan's administration cooperate in the fight against terror organization the Kurdistan Workers' Party requiring establishment of independent Kurdish nation in Turkey.
Turkey launched military operations against terrorists in the north of Iraq in 2007. Their base is situated in Kandil Mountains.
