Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu departed from Istanbul for Malaysia on Sunday, Anadolu reported.
Davutoglu will attend the 12th meeting of foreign ministers council of D-8.
Foreign ministers of Iran, Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Nigeria are expected to attend the meeting too.
Davutoglu will also hold bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts.
He will meet with Malaysia's Foreign Minister Anifah Aman on November 3.
