One killed, 25 wounded in boiler explosion in Turkey

One Turk was killed and 25 people wounded in a boiler explosion in a southeastern province of Turkey on Tuesday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
  
The explosion occurred in boiler room of the building during maintenance of the government office in Silvan town of the province of Diyarbakir, according to the report.
  
Local officials were quoted as saying that two of the injured people were in serious condition and they were transferred to hospitals in the city of Diyarbakir, while the other wounded people were under treatment at Silvan State Hospital, Xinhua reported.
  
The officials said that the explosion occurred when an oxygen cylinder went off in the boiler room, adding that the nearby buildings were also damaged.
