![]() Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan answered the questions of reporters at the Turkish Grand National Assembly, TRT reported. Upon a question regarding his visit to Italy, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told reporters that he cancelled his visit to Italy for a while due to the assault against his Italian counterpart Silvio Berlusconi. Regarding the incidents following the closure of Democratic Society Party (DTP), the Premier put the blame on the media and opposition leaders, saying that the incidents were reflected turgidly. Prime Minister Erdoğan stated that drawbacks in some regions should not be generalized and added as follows: "All of these happen within a process which can be overcome in the national unity, brotherhood and democratic drive process. As long as we are in solidarity we will get over these; however, political leaders do whatever they can to strain the process. But we still overcome these drawbacks with the help of our nation, not with those leaders." See Also:
