Turkish PM meets Top Commander to discuss security issues

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a meeting with Chief of General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug in Ankara on Saturday, Anadolu Agency reported.

Erdogan received Basbug at his official residence, Erdogan's office said in a statement.

Land Forces Commander Isik Kosaner was also in attendance at their meeting, the statement said.
