Relations with Azerbaijan are one of the priorities of Turkish foreign policy, said Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu at press conference on Thursday, making an assessment of the developments in 2009 regarding Turkey's foreign policy matters, CNN Turk reported.
"Relations with Azerbaijan are one of the priorities of Turkish foreign policy. The friendship of Turkey and Azerbaijan will be further strengthened according to the principle of "one nation - two states"", said Ahmet Davutoglu.
According to him, the aim of Turkey is not only the normalization of relations with Armenia, but the full restoration of stability in the Caucasus.

According to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is very important for Turkey.

Parallel consideration of the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia and the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan will ensure peace in the region" said Ahmet Davutoglu.
