"It is impossible to make changes to the Armenian-Turkish protocol," the letter of Turkish President Abdullah Gul to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan says, the Turkish Anadolu state news agency reported.
The Turkish side is ready for negotiations with Armenia on the basis of the original version of the Armenian-Turkish protocols, the Turkish president said in his letter.
"Changes will give a new form to the protocols, so they should not be allowed," Abdullah Gul said
