Turkey's EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagish met former Speaker of European Parliament Hans-Gert Pottering in Ankara on Tuesday, Anadolu Agency reported.
Replying to questions on the progress report on Turkey that is expected to be made public by the European Commission on Wednesday, Bagish said that the report was not a report card.
"We attach importance to the report we will make public at the end of the year," he said.
EU's credibility has weakened in Turkey in the recent period, he added.
