Tensions remain in the Gezi park on Taksim Square, Zaman newspaper reported.
Protesters, against of demolition of the park, built the barricades in the street Istiklal and throw stones at police. To disperse the demonstrators police continue to use tear gas and water cannons.
Istiklal Street has changed beyond recognition. Police are trying to disperse the protesters.
As previously reported, Istanbul Governor Hüseyin Avni Mutlu said that 12 injured, 63 people were detained during the riots on Taksim Square in Istanbul due to the demolition of the Gezi park. Police used tear gas and water cannon to disperse demonstrators.
6th Istanbul Administrative Court decided to suspend the construction of a shopping mall on Istanbul's Taksim Square.
