Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said at the parliament in a thanking speech he made after the parliament adopted the proposed 2014 budget that ''Fighting against corruption is our government's reason for existence. Corruption is a condemned business whoever it comes from, whoever commits it and whoever it is committed with. We will fight against it'', Anadolu Agency reported.

Arinc also spoke about the decision of a Diyarbakir court on prisoned Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) MPs and said he thought the decision is completely against the principle of equality. ''This is a wrong process and the judiciary should correct this mistake immidiately'', Arinc added.

''The four parties, if Bahceli (leader of opposition's Nationalist Movement Party (MHP)) lets too, should come together and we, as the government will work on this. If a legal alteration is required we will do it and eliminate this illegality and injustice'', Arinc also said.

The high criminal court rejected plea for release of detained deputies by unanimous vote after reviewing the objections on extended detention period and violation of right to be elected on Friday.

Peace and Democracy Party's deputies, Faysal Sariyildiz, Selma Irmak and independent deputy Kemal Aktas were on trial over "being affiliated to terrorist organization".
