Iran and Turkey on Tuesday signed five agreements about economic cooperation in the current of International Seminar on ˈIran-Turkey Investment Opportunities and Commercial Cooperationˈ opened in Istanbul, IRNA reported.

An Iranian delegation comprising deputy interior minister, Tehran governor and several officials from Iranian municipalities and economic activists are participating in the ongoing event.

Under the agreements inked between the two countries, Turkey undertook to cooperate with Iran to implement development projects in Kabudarahang Municipality and Ardebil Municipality, Tabriz Railway and Shazand petrochemical project.
