Three people were killed in an attack on the car of former ANAVATAN (Motherland) Party deputy Adnan Yildiz, in Istanbul's Bakirkoy district on April 15 Hurriyet Daily News reported.
The former deputy's wife and daughter, who were traveling in the car, were both killed in the shooting, while Yildiz was injured and rushed to the hospital.
One of the assailants was also killed after an unknown retaliator returned fire.
Police dispatched to the scene have launched an investigation into the attack
