Chairman of Federation Council of Federal Assembly of Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, who was in a visit to Armenia, "has not make any statement regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict". This was reported in a statement released today by the Office of public relations and media of the National Assembly of Armenia, ITAR-TASS reported.
Statement linked with the publication in the "Hraparak" newspaper, which quotes statements Matvienko allegedly made regarding the Karabakh conflict.
"We declare that this article is totally untrue. This kind of discussion did not have any place in the course of official meetings, much less at dinner" - said in the statement of the Office of public relations and media of the National Assembly of Armenia.
"Unfortunately, media publications do not always correspond to reality. This publication is of this series," - the document says.
