The landing of an Armenian plane transporting humanitarian aid to Syria, was planned, the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan told the News-Armenia agency.
"The landing of a plane transporting humanitarian aid to Syria, over Turkey was planned. It was carried out according to a reached agreement, "Balayan said.
The Turkish government landed an Armenian plane on Monday at Erzurum airport in the east of the country. According to a TV company, following the landing the plane was inspected.
According to information, the plane is owned by the Air Armenia airline.
