Next in turn political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and the Czech Republic took place in Yerevan at the ministerial level, News-Armenia reports citing the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

From the Armenian side consultations were led by the head of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Armen Liloyan, and from the Czech side - by the head of the Northern and Eastern Europe Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Eliška Žigová.

Armenian and Czech diplomats discussed the agenda of bilateral cooperation. Both sides exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation between Armenia and the EU.

On Tuesday, the delegation was received by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who presented the process of negotiations on the Armenia-EU Association Agreement and Armenia's expectations of the Eastern Partnership summit scheduled for this November in Vilnius.

At the request of guests, Deputy Foreign Minister also spoke of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement and regional security issues.
