Major General Ishkhan Matevosian was appointed commander of the Fifth Army Corps of the Armenian Defence Ministry. The order was signed by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today, Armenia Today reported citing the presidential press service.
According to another presidential order, Matevosian was dismissed from the post of head of the combat readiness department of the Armenian Armed Forces.
Moreover, according to the presidential order, Colonel Tiran Khachatryan was appointed chief of the combat readiness department of the Armenian Armed Forces for a period of five years.
