On Wednesday the Armenian and Georgian defense ministries signed a military cooperation program for 2014, Mediamax news agency reported with reference to the Armenian Defense Ministry's press service.

The Georgian military delegation was on a visit to Armenia on January 28-29.

The delegation headed by Georgian Deputy Defense Minister Mikhail Darchiashvili, held meetings with Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and the First Deputy Minister David Tonoyan.

During the meetings the sides discussed prospects for expanding the cooperation level between the two countries' defense ministries as well as possibilities of cooperation in multilateral formats.

The program of military cooperation for 2014 includes mutual visits, cooperation and exchange of experience in the areas of defense policy, peacekeeping, military education, resource management, and so on.
