Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic will negotiate on a strategic partnership in Prague next week, Azerbaijani Ambassador to this country Tahir Taghizade told Trend .
Negotiations will be held under Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov's Prague visit, the diplomat said.
The sides will discuss perspectives of bilateral and regional cooperation. At present, the relevant agencies develop the program of the deputy ministers' meetings, he added.
According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $21.2 million in January-September 2009.
