Data-processing center (DPC) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan has signed with the Romanian company CertSIGN SA a contract for the introduction of Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO / IEC 27001:2005 (AZS-494-2010), the ministry said on Friday.
Under the contract, the Romanian company will provide consultancy services on ISMS installation, will review for compliance of information security (IS) with standard ISO / IEC 27001:2005 (AZS-494-2010), will organize and conduct an audit of the DPC personnel.
Work in this area is planned for the next six months. In the same period, within two months ISMS will be put into test operation.
