The Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes will soon introduce an electronic payment system for taxpayers, Goldenpay company director general Farid Ismayilzade told Trend on Wednesday.
The Goldenpay Company, serving as the system integrator, is the organisation dealing with the technical construction of the system. The project implementation will allow taxpayers to make payments to the state budget via the Internet.
The process of making payments by credit cards via the Internet will minimise transaction costs and those associated with the collection of taxes and duties.
Currently, around 20 Azerbaijani public organisations have joined the Goldenpay online-payment system.
This number will soon be increased.
