Azerbaijan may become a sponsor for the World Conference and Specialized Exhibition of telecommunications technologies, equipment and services of the International Telecommunications Union - ITU Telecom World-2013 - to be held on November 19-22 in Bangkok (Thailand), the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According tp the ministry, negotiations are currently underway on the matter; their results will be known in a month.
Traditionally, the ministry will take part in the exhibition and the conference with a national pavilion, which will present the latest technical solutions in the field of telecommunications and information technology.
ITU Telecom World exhibition is a major event, gathering representatives from the public sector, international and local companies in the sector of telecommunications and information technology from around the world.
The event is also expected to be attended by the ministers, heads of companies as well as experts in the field of telecommunications technology.
a central place in the program of the event is occupied by debates and discussions on the exchange of knowledge on key industry topics such as innovation, mobile technology, broadband, satellite, cloud computing, etc.
