Always supporting young generation with its numerous educational, cultural and business projects, this time Azercell will realize first ever visit of Azerbaijani start-ups abroad - to the world's most technologically advanced center, U.S. Silicon Valley.
7 start-up project winners from Azercell will benefit from this opportunity in the frames of the Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Program, realized by Barama Innovation Center in cooperation with U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation. The young winners will join business training and a conference for start-ups to be held in San Francisco, Boston and Washington during their 2 week trip to the United States between September, 14-28.
During the visit Azerbaijani start-ups will also attend "Global 1000 Meet" conference in San Fransisco. The main objective of this conference is to bring together the start-ups from all over the world and develop connections with the leading companies, investors, venture foundations, and as the result - to get financial investments for the development of presented projects.
Before the trip the foreign mentors of Barama Innovation Center held online training courses for each start-up. The selected teams will present their upgraded business ideas to the international judges during the final stage intended for this December. The winners will be awarded with 1 grant of 10,000 USD, 1 grant of 7,500 USD and 1 grant of 5000 USD.
