Baku, Azerbaijan, Jan. 22
By Huseyn Valiyev - Trend:

Poland is interested in the analysis of electrocardiograms and electroencephalograms using the new technological developments of Azerbaijani scholars, Director of the Institute of Cybernetics of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences Telman Aliyev told Trend on Tuesday.

"A preliminary agreement on cooperation in the field was reached with the Polish Biocybernetics Institute," he said. "The cooperation agreement is expected to be signed soon."

The matter rests in the experiments using the "Robust Noise Monitoring" technology of the Institute of Cybernetics under the academy at the clinical level. Using "Robust Noise Monitoring" technology in medicine allows listening to "souffle" in the respiratory tract, the heartbeat and to receive the evaluative information about the failure in the human respiratory system.

"This is a new direction that can give effective results in medicine," he said. "There are similar agreements with Lithuania and Italy today."

The experimental work is being conducted at the Institute of Cybernetics under the academy to monitor the cardiovascular system using this technology.

The software will be developed jointly with the European specialists. At present, seven European countries have shown interest in the application of this technology in medicine.
