The Communication and IT Ministry of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) has announced the launch of online payments for utility services on the "electronic government" (e-hokumet.nmr.az) portal, the ministry said on April 15.
At present, it is possible to pay for the use of electricity and gas on the portal, the ministry said.
For the first time, an online payment service for the fixed telephony and the Internet via the portal was launched in September 2013.
Azerbaijani company GoldenPay acts as a system integrator of technical construction of the online payment system.
The online payment services and other utilities (water and sewerage system) , as well as fines for traffic violations will be available on the portal, the company told Trend earlier.
