The Team Computer Emergency Response (CERT) under the State Agency for Special Communications and Information Security of the Azerbaijani Special State Protection Service is developing an anti-virus protection for Internet users Malware Report, CERT said on May 26.
Malware Report program has the function of anti-virus protection. It allows transferring malicious and suspicious files directly to the CERT laboratory (Malware Lab), where the file is analyzed. Afterwards, the bill is submitted to the user proceeding from the obtained results, according to the report.
Informing the users about the threats and vulnerabilities, as well as providing them with the necessary information to counter external threats will be one of the software solution advantages.
The program is intended for all users of the Azerbaijani segment of the Internet. In the future it is possible that CERT software will contain all features of full antivirus software.
