Tbilisi is dissatisfied with the twentieth round of Geneva talks, Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at a traditional briefing on Monday, adding that the Georgian side welcomes the preservation of this format.

"As of questions discussed at this round, the Georgian side once again raised the question that Russia has committed not to use force," Kalandadze said.

She added that attempt to restore meetings on incident prevention and response mechanisms in Gali was also unsuccessful. If these meetings aren't be resumed, the responsibility for possible consequences will be assigned to Russia and Sukhumi proxy regime.

The Geneva talks were convened after the armed conflict in Georgia in August 2008, in accordance with the Ceasefire Agreement dated Aug.12.

Military actions were launched in the Georgian region of South Ossetia on Aug.8, 2008. Later Russian troops occupied the city of Tskhinvali and drove the Georgian military back. Russia recognised the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia in late August.

In response, Tbilisi broke off diplomatic relations with Moscow and announced the two unrecognised republics as occupied territories.
