At a traditional briefing on Monday, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze spoke about the Trabzon declaration signed a few days ago by the foreign ministers of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey.

She said the meeting in this format between the Foreign Ministers was held for the first time, and she expressed the hope that this format would continue.

"Our two countries have close relations both politically and economically. Both Turkey and Azerbaijan share the first and second places in terms of trade partnership with Georgia, and therefore it is important that meetings in this format continue," Kalandadze said.

She said the foreign ministers signed a declaration on June 9 in Trabzon.
