Georgia will receive $43 million from the World Bank for the construction of a high speed motorway. An agreement on the financing of this project will be signed on June 28 between the Finance Ministry of Georgia and the International Development Association (IDA).
The project envisages allocation of additional funds worth about $43 million by the World Bank to finance the third phase of construction of the new motorway.
The agreement will be signed by Georgian Finance Minister Dmitry Gvindadze and WB Acting Country Manager for Georgia, Elene Imnadze.
