Appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili as Prime Minister after the expiration of his term in 2013 is supported by 33 percent of the surveyed, the studies of the National Democratic Institute of USA (NDI) show.
Some 33 percent of respondents answered positively, 36 percent were against, 27 percent didn't have the answer, and 3 percent refused to answer the question: "Do you support the appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili as Prime Minister?"
The Prime Minister will have full executive power in Georgia, thus the power of the president will be limited n accordance with the new Georgian constitution, which will come into force in 2013.
NDI study was conducted on June 4-22. Some 6299 people throughout the country were surveyed.
