The first televised debate of candidates for prime minister from qualified parties was held in Georgia. Vano Merbishvishvili, Giorgi Targamadze and Shalva Natelashvili speaked before the audience of "public broadcaster".
Top three candidates for prime minister of the country from "United National Movement", CDM and the "Labour Party" opened the campaign debates.
Candidate for prime minister from the block "Bidzina Ivanishvili - The Georgian Dream" Bidzina Ivanishvili refused from live performances. He wanted to sit in the studio in a debate only with Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili.
Participants were televised debate by welcoming and answered four questions and comment on the performance of their opponents.
