Earthquake hits Georgia

Georgia, Tbilisi, Sept 14 /Trend N.Kirtzkhalia/

An earthquake measuring 2.6 on the Richter scale occurred in Georgia.

According to the seismic monitoring centre at the University of Elijah, the epicentre was located seven kilometres south-east of the Caspian Sea.

The earthquake occurred at 12:29 local time.
