Heads of parliamentary delegations of OSCE, Council of Europe, NATO and the European Parliament, those monitoring parliamentary elections in Georgia, designated 1 October, called on the leaders of all political parties "to use the remaining hours before the parliamentary elections to present their political platforms and to exercise restraint, refrain from violence and not to respond to provocations. "
"We think that the Georgian people should use their civil and democratic rights, and to choose their own representatives in a peaceful manner. Political leaders should be selected through the ballot box, not on the streets," said in joint statement of the head of delegations issued on Saturday.
