Georgia, Tbilisi, Oct. 11 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia /
Employees of the security police department under the Georgian Interior Ministry held a rally in front of the office of the "Georgian Dream" by requiring guarantees from a candidate for interior minister that they will not remain without job.
They claim that around 700 employees of the security police were dismissed after the Tbilisi City Hall refused from their services. It creates a special service to protect the facilities in the city.
They were proposed to go to the service, but they do not want to leave the Interior Ministry.
They stressed that they have families and they do not want to lose their jobs.
Candidate for the post of Interior Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with them. He urged the current Georgian government not to take such sharp actions.
