First Georgian President's son Tsotne Gamsakhurdia has been acquitted of espionage and conspiracy to overthrow the legally elected government.

The Prosecutor's Office removed charges on the first part of Article 314, and the first part of Article 315 of the Criminal Code at the Tbilisi City Court yesterday, Gamsakhurdia's lawyer Keti Bekauri said on Thursday.

She said despite removal of espionage charges, proceedings on the charges of causing bodily injuries continue.
Tsotne Gamsakhurdia is accused of shooting and wounding his neighbor.
The next hearing on this case will be held at 14:00 on Dec.11.
