Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri expressed willingness to debate with Secretary General of President Mikheil Saakashvili's party "United National Movement" Vano Merabishvili, the Finance Ministry's official Facebook page reports.
Merabishvili also accepted this offer. Yesterday he said that there is financial crisis in the country and it is impossible to collect taxes. He also said there is no budget crisis in Georgia.
"I am ready to take part in debates with Secretary General of the United National Movement on the state budget, the country's economic outlook and the government's plans," Nodar Khaduri said.
The TV debates will be held on the air of "Rustavi - 2" television company at 22:00 on Tuesday, Jan.22.
