Process of releasing pardoned prisoners starts in Georgia

The process of releasing pardoned prisoners has started in Georgia.

The Georgian Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance told Trend today that at the first phase, 10 men who served in Zugdidi were released.

Several thousand files have been submitted from the Ministry of Corrections to the courts. Some of them have already been registered.

The pardoned prisoners' documents must be considered within two months.
