Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili discussed the risks associated with the arrival of a new government in his country during a meeting with Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland in Strasbourg, the Georgian presidential administration told Trend on Tuesday.
Saakashvili is participating at the PACE winter session.
At the meeting particular attention was paid to the development of democracy in Georgia, relations with the Council of Europe and strengthening of cooperation within the organisation.
The sides exchanged views on the political processes that are underway in Georgia and agreed on plans for future cooperation.
