Around 3,323 individuals appealed to the Georgian Defense Ministry with requests for reinstatement to the armed forces from October 25, 2012 to February 12, 2013.
Some 443 senior officers, 409 petty officers, 1,976 corporals and sergeants and 495 civilians are among them, the ministry told Trend on Tuesday.
As of today, around 435 military and civilians have been reinstated and the procedures regarding up to 500 people are underway.
A special working group created in the Joint Staff is considering the applications. It includes the representatives of the civil office of the Ministry and the Joint Staff.
The working group will stop accepting applications on February 22. In future, the job qualification commission, established by defense minister's decree, will consider these applications.
